As Chief Legal Officer, Shilpa leads all legal functions at Shields, partnering closely with teams across the organization to ensure that the company’s strategic goals are pursued with integrity and legal excellence. Her work is central to upholding Shields’ commitment to ethical leadership and delivering trusted support to our partners and their patients.

Shilpa joined Shields in 2025, bringing a distinctive blend of healthcare law, startup agility, and business acumen. Her experience spans health systems, hospitals, health plans, and healthcare technology companies. Prior to joining Shields, Shilpa held leadership roles at Kindbody, Quartet Health and Oscar Health. She also practiced healthcare law at Foley & Lardner LLP and Garfunkel Wild, PC.

Shilpa earned her BA from Tufts University and her JD from Brooklyn Law School.
