Dan Stevenson
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Dan oversees Shields Information Technology operations, strategy, and investment. As a key enabler of the business, Dan and his team work closely with health system partners to identify and deliver innovative solutions for improved patient engagement, operational efficiency, and data insights to drive business performance. Dan is also responsible for all new technology, product development, and artificial intelligence initiatives by leading the effort to continue introducing new capabilities and technologies into the Company’s portfolio.
In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer, Dan helped lead new technology and analytics initiatives. He oversaw the Data Analytics and Engineering teams in charge of operational and clinical reporting, data science, regulatory reporting, and partner integrations. Since joining Shields in 2013, Dan has been a valued partner to business leaders to leverage data and new technologies to further the company’s vision and mission, including leading the development of our TelemetryRx platform and establishing data architecture and reporting.
Prior to joining Shields, Dan was an Associate at T3 Advisors providing consultative services to some of Boston’s prominent high growth companies in healthcare and technology. Dan played four years in the National Football League, originally drafted by the New England Patriots, after serving on the leadership committee of the University of Notre Dame football team.
Dan holds a B.A. from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
