As President, Jake is responsible for advancing Shields’ strategic vision through the development and execution of enterprise growth initiatives, expanding the Shields care model into new service lines, hospitals, and therapeutic areas. In his role, he works in close collaboration with key business enablement functions, including payer contracting, patient engagement, clinical, and technology, to drive enterprise-wide performance, innovation, and growth enablement.
Since joining the company in 2018, Jake has held several leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Strategy Officer. During his tenure, he has played a central role in the evolution of Shields’ care model, technology capabilities, and partnership strategies to meet emerging market needs. Before joining Shields, Jake was a member of the Business Planning & Market Development team at Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA where he focused on driving strategic initiatives for the health system and its member hospitals.
Jake holds a B.S. in Economics from Trinity College and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
