As Chief Operating Officer, Michael Fraher leads nationwide operations, implementation, and innovation for Shields Health Solutions. He’s myopically focused on driving patient outcomes, operational excellence, and sustained growth across more than 80 health system partners.
Previously, as Market President, Michael oversaw multi-regional operations spanning New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Southwest markets, delivering strong growth and consistent clinical and operational performance. Earlier, as Senior Vice President of the New England region, he helped scale the company’s most mature partnerships and drive long-term value creation.
Prior to Shields, Michael held consulting and implementation leadership roles at Epic, partnering with leading academic medical centers including Mass General Brigham and Northwestern. He also led the first Epic implementation in the United Kingdom at Cambridge University’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Michael holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University.
